Diverse student body
Over 250 students representing 30 different countries are enrolled at KAS in Nursery through Grade 12. Many diplomatic missions, NGOs, United Nations agencies, and international and private businesses have selected KAS as their school-of-choice.


Student-teacher ratio
Average class size may vary from year-to-year depending on enrollment at each grade level. In most cases, classes are capped at 23 students. All classes in grade nursery through grade 5 have at least one full-time Teaching Assistant. In addition, there are Student Support Services teachers who assist students and staff when necessary.


Well-maintained campus
Located on the outskirts of the Amarat area of Khartoum, KAS buildings and grounds are well-maintained with green spaces and lush vegetation. The campus includes a covered outdoor basketball and multipurpose sports court, two soccer fields and two volleyball courts.


Parent Governed
KAS is an independent, not-for-profit school and is governed by a School Board that is elected by the parents.


English As An Additional Language (EAL) Program and Student Support and Counseling Services
There is supplemental instruction taught by experienced EAL teachers for students needing assistance in the acquisition of English language. Support Services staff are available when necessary for academic, social, and emotional adjustment.


University Placement
KAS has an outstanding record of placing its graduates in excellent universities in the USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa.
