Jebel Alsit - Mountain of the lady

In winter, Arkawit can get as foggy as London

It is said that during the British Rule of Sudan, a British lady used to sit and have her tea in the mornings, on top of this mountain. One day she fell from top of this mountain and died. This photo was taken from the mountain which is now known as Jebel Alsit which means "Mountain of the Lady".
